Barbara Bartolotta and Valentina Lami are expert Italian cooks and Italian language teachers with extensive experience. They will guide you in a fine dance around flavours and tastes, offering an introduction to preparing-and eating-traditional dishes along with the appropriate wines.

Our Cooking Lessons & Tours concentrate on producing and promoting healthy balanced and nutritious meals. We pride ourselves on using good quality ingredients, local products and vegetables and fruit in season.
We aim to teach you something about the Italian cuisine, and more especially the Tuscan cuisine and its importance in the local culture.

I’ve been living in the Tuscan countryside since I was born, in the same house where my father was born and my grandmother was born. Tuscany is my daily life and the landscape I see from my bedroom window each morning. When I am abroad, I am often asked about my country, our typical wine and food, nature and small villages sitting at the top of the hills.

We, at Dante Alighieri school, have a gastronomy department which allow students to discover the Cuisine world with hand made sessions and elaborate traditional tuscan and mediterranean recipes.
The cooking school is based in the heart of the picturesque city of Siena, just few steps from the main sightseeing and attractions to be visited.

GiglioCooking is a private cooking school located just off the Arno River in central Florencerun by Tuscan Chef Marcella Ansaldo. Born and raised on Giglio Island, one of the beautifulislands in the Tuscan archipelago, and for years the owner and chef of a highly acclaimedrestaurant on the island.

The Tuscans know how to prepare simple food from quality local ingredients. They make the most of regional and seasonal produce. That’s why my classes begin in the Mercato Centrale or other markets where purveyors provide the best from the Tuscan countryside.

The Tuscan Chef
The Tuscan chef is a private culinary school offering a selection of cooking vacations throughout the year. Courses are hands-on under the guidance of professional Italian chef and sommelier, Valter Roman, and also feature guest chefs from around the world including Alvaro Maccioni of La Famiglia restaurant in London. Alvaro is a passionate advocate of using fresh, seasonal produce and traditional methods of cooking. He believes that ‘if a chef cooks like his mother, he is a great chef.
Toscana Mia

Come to “Tutti a Tavola” and discover the flavour of life in Chianti with four Tuscan mammas, Mimma, Lele, Franca and Simonetta, connected through family relations and lifetime friendship. We will cook together, sharing meals and conversation. You will stay in our houses entering the welcoming fabric of Italian hospitality where friendship and good food combine to open the heart and please the stomach.
Organic Tuscany
Organic Tuscany offers week-long “farm to table” organic cooking holidays in the Tuscan hills. We visit local organic farms and teach you how to use their fresh, seasonal produce in traditional Tuscan and Italian dishes, both ”cucina povera” (inventive peasant food) and richer fare, including sumptuous desserts. Three courses a year are 100% vegetarian and all are vegetarian friendly.
