The School
We are proud and excited to offer cooking classes exclusively at Lilliput Restaurant, on the beautiful hills of Noli. Mr. Nan and his chefs will illustrate the art of sophisticated Italian-Ligurian cooking combined with their passion and expertise. Lilliput Restaurant was founded in 1961 by Mr. Carlo Nan himself and his wife Marisa, with the assistance of his 2 dedicated chefs Valerio and Marco for over 20 years now and son Angelo, they will introduce and teach you personally to the secrets and art of “Fine ItalianCuisine” . A former Michelin star holder for many years and present in the most important Italian gastronomic restaurant guides such as Michelin, Gambero Rosso, L’espresso and Il Sole XXV Ore, Lilliput has gained the recognition of one of the best restaurants in the Ligurian Region. It is an honour for us to present to you the back stage of “Lilliput Restaurant” and reveal the secrets of “Fine, Sophisticated Italian Cuisine” to our foreign guests! Entering into the kitchen of a real chef is like entering into the heart and soul of an artist!!!
The Classes
The daily cooking program varies depending on the season and catch of the day. Each day we will have an introduction lecture and will proceed with our menu of the day .
If you are up early enough you can go to the local fish market with Mr. Nan to choose the localfish of the day!
The menu of the day will vary and consists of:
-3 to 5 courses (mix of fresh vegetables of the season, pastas and fresh fish).
-Fish “degustazione” (tasting) menu
-Typical traditional Ligurian menu
-Fresh home made pastas
- Fabulous desserts accompanying every menu
-1 bottle of Ligurian wine every 2 persons
